The Polarization Maintaining Circulator (PMC) from Hiphotonics is an optical part that is used in fiber optic communication networks. It is made to keep the light signal polarized while sending it in a certain direction. The PMCs are very reliable and robust for many uses because they have strong isolation and minimal insertion loss.

An optical fiber guides the signal in a Polarization Maintaining Circulator. The light signal's polarization is in line with the fiber axis. The polarization maintaining fiber makes sure that the polarization stays the same along the whole length of the optical cable. A magnetic field is put on the ferrite material that is in the circulator. This makes the light signals spin, which moves energy from the input port to the output port.

PMC has a high polarization extinction ratio, a low insertion loss, and a high isolation. The polarization extinction ratio is more than 20 dB, which means that the signal's polarization state stays the same even after it goes through the circulator. The low insertion loss is less than 0.5 dB, which means that the signal won't get weaker as it goes through the circulator. The isolation is over 40 dB, which means that other signals won't interfere with the transmission.

Keeping Polarization Fiber optic lasers, amplifiers, and sensors all require circulators. PMC can help make these applications stable and reliable, which is what they need. In fiber optic lasers, the PMCs are used to change the laser's polarization. In fiber optic amplifiers, PMCs keep the input signal's polarization stable. PMCs are employed in fiber optic sensors to keep noise from messing up the signal.

Polarization Maintaining Circulators are a great alternative for a wide range of fiber optic communication applications since they are very stable and reliable. The PMCs have excellent isolation and minimal insertion loss, which means that the signal won't be interrupted when it goes through the circulator. These properties make Polarization Maintaining Circulators an important part of fiber-optic communication systems.
